Details Modal

Overview

The Details modal provides a full snapshot of an appointment, including patient demographics, provider, location, services, documents, and history. It is accessible from List, Day, Week, and Month views.

Key sections and fields

  • Header: Appointment type, date, time, language, current status badges (e.g., Checked In, Reschedule).
  • Tabs:
    • Details: Patient info (name, DOB, language, MRN if present), contact, provider card, location address, services.
    • Documents: Related medical records and uploads.
    • History: Status changes, reschedules, and audit log.
  • Primary actions: Check In, Reschedule, Cancel (visibility depends on permissions and status).

Behavior

  • Context-aware: Opens with the appointment you selected in List/Calendar.
  • Live updates: Status and fields reflect the latest provider workflow updates.
  • Role-based controls: Actions shown depend on your permissions.

Common actions

  1. Review details: Confirm patient, provider, location, and services.
  2. Communicate: Use contact information to coordinate with client/provider.
  3. Manage status: Check in the patient, reschedule, or cancel as needed.
  4. Open documents: Download or review available records.

Tips

  • Verify logistics: Confirm address and time with the client from this screen.
  • Audit quickly: Use History to track prior reschedules or no shows.

Troubleshooting

  • Missing documents? They may not be uploaded yet; check back or contact records.
  • Action disabled? You might lack permission or the status prevents the action.
